السفيرة الأميركية:وداعا يا أم الدنيا

 غرّدت السفيرة الأمريكية في مصر بعد إنتهاء مهمة عملها بالقاهرة وكتبت :"في ختام فترة عملي كسفيرة للولايات المتحدة لدى مصر، يغمرني الامتنان والتفاؤل بالمستقبل.

إلى أسرة السفارة الأمريكية الرائعة: شكرًا من أعماق قلبي. أنا ممتنة ومقدّرة تفانيكم في خدمة الشعب الأمريكي، ورعايتكم للشراكة الراسخة بين الولايات المتحدة ومصر. كان شرفًا لي أن أخدم كسفيرتكم.
وإلى زملائي وأصدقائي المصريين: شكرًا لحكمتكم ودعمكم وشراكتكم.
وداعًا يا أم الدنيا!"
